A busy week for us this week. I think I was home late everynight. But enjoyed some good times too. Had dinner our with Laura and some friends Thursday after WW and -2.4 lb. Was excited to see that. I was just a bit worried after the Portland trip, but had tried to make wise decisions and limits. Like just a mini cupcake at Cupcake Jones. It had been a long crazy day that day and was glad to at least end it with good times.
Friday a quick trip to Walla Walla to meet with our printers and to talk about new product options. Have some great ideas, now just to see if it is affordable. We are finding everything is possible just sometimes at a cost greater than we can market it for. This is a cost of keeping our product production in the US. But it is a part of our business we are commited to, so we continue to find options in the US. Another thing we have been researching is the {Green Factor} of our paper. It is 30% post recycled product and uses vegatable and soy-based inks. Not 100%, but we are glad to know that some of our product is recycled.
Friday night was a play with Kenzi! It was so funny. We laughed almost non-stop during the comedy version of Romeo and Juliet. Kenzi was Priscilla and the Nurse to Juliet. It was a play about some middle school students version of putting on a production of Romeo and Juliet.

Here she is in costume at the end of the play, they had all the kids sit on the stage and visit with people about the play at the end.

Another photo and a close up of her stage make up. She is wearing make up all the time now, but not quite this much. Although I wish I had half the length of eyelashes she does. Mascara only enhances this, she has beautiful blue eyes like her daddy!

Signing autographes... feeling like a real movie star!

This is Kenzi with Jared. They have been friends since 2nd grade when he moved here. Kenzi was the first person to show him around and they have stayed friends since. At one time she was taller than him.... he has grown alot these last couple of years. He had one of the main parts in the play and was great. His little brother (4yrs old) sat behind me and kept us laughing. During the fight scene where Romeo and some others get in a fight and "kill" one of the characters his brother asked his Mom... "When is Jared going to die?" He wanted to see Jared fight too. (He wasn't in that scene.)
Well off to work now. Lots to do, but also looking forward to good times. At least work is enjoyable 90% of the time and I love visiting and seeing my friends and customers!
