A Weekend in Portland

On Saturday afternoon Kenzi, Shelby and I headed over to Portland. I have lived in Oregon 3 hours away from Portland for 11 years. I have never really been over to just explore and shop. We checked into the hotel and then headed over to IKEA. Still trying to figure out how I came home without this little gem... but I really wasn't sure where I would put it.

The girls found these crazy little things with lots of color to inspire them.

Then the next morning we headed to the Pearl District and found this adorable store.

The decor, window displays, the colors, the textures and more. Loved it, wish I could have brought it all home.

We also ended up in Lloyd Center where the girls found some cute shirts, shoes and had fun trying on clothes.

It was great to get away, the best part was being able to not get lost with the navigation on my phone, we were able to drive right where we needed to go. I get so anxious driving in the cities since we are from such a small town. It is just unfamiliar and I get nervous and unsure of where I need to be and there is so much to pay attention to. But this made it so less stressful!

OK I know this a long post, but we also started a new blog for just those that want to know the happenings "AT THE BUCKET" check it out.

Enjoy!
