No Batteries...

Today my family came over for dinner. My Dad and Mom just returned Mayo clinic and my Dadi is doing well. They put a new hip in him and in a couple of months he may be walking again as long as he follows doctors orders. Glad to have them home and loved visiting. It is almost like they were never gone, but we really did miss them and glad they are home safe.

I was glad the propane ran out in the BBQ right as dinner was done. I really need to get an extra tank.

I wanted to take pictures of Marissa my 2 year old neice playing with the big kids, but had no batteries in my camera, and my battery jar is empty. She is incredibly competitive. They were playing some made up game with this huge 3ft blow up ball. They had to prevent the other team from getting the ball into their basket when it was their turn. These kids were basically playing full on tackle football and little Marissa was holding her own with the big kids. You would have thought she would have been a bit scared, but this girl has no fear. They will be back on Wednesday night and I will have batteries ready. What a great night!

I love the "Walk down Memory Lane" idea. Thanks for all the comments. What great memories. How time gets away and I am realizing how long it has been since I have seen some of you.

Chat soon!
