2nd post for the graduation milestone!

Michael joined the Hermiston High School graduates this year, graduating with honors. This is an award (the medal) given to students who take at least 12 honors classes in an assortment of subjects and maintain a high grade point average (the yellow tassel). Only 24 students in his class acheived both of these.
Here he is with his friend Daniel! 2 of a kind and will be rooming together as they head to OSU this fall.
A proud Father and Son! and a goofy sister behind!!! He looked sharp in his cap and gown and we had a fun celebrating afterwards with family and friends.

I can't believe this day has come and passed already. It seems so far away when they are young and then senior year hits and it flys by. We are super excited for him, but also sad. Only 4 months till he leaves home to attend college. He will be attending Oregon State University in the Engineering Program, not looking forward to the day when he will move out.
All of my friends with little ones give them an extra hug...be a bit more patient today... read one more book with them.... play cars or dolls with them... take a photo or several and let them be little, because before you know it they are grown up!

What a big accomplishment...for Mike, and for both of you on raising such a good boy. As I already know, there are many changes that come and go in the raising of your kids. Continue to enjoy every little experience that comes along with both Mike and Kenzi! It makes for a wonderful life story.
